A pair of left-hand flintlock rifles, Z. Walther, Wasungen/Saxony, circa 1740 Slightly swamped, octagonal barrels with seven-groove rifling in 14 mm calibre with dovetailed brass front sights and iron rear sights. At the breeches brass-lined mark "WALTER" surmounted by a crown (Stöckel no. 1134), the breechblocks numbered "1" and "2", respectively. Slightly chiselled flintlocks with double set triggers and repeated signatures "WALTHER". Original wooden ramrods with brass tips. Untouched pair of rifles in good condition.
