Pipa is a well known destination throughout South America. Backpackers and surfers discovered Pipa in the early 1980's and some loved it so much they never left. Stunning Praia do Madeiro or Dolphin Beach is visited daily by wild dolphins who come to feed and frolic amongst the swimmers and it is also a popular surfing beach.
