Early morning enjoying the sunrise at the famous windmills of Kinderdijk. One of the UNESCO world heritage sites the Netherlands has to offer.

This location has been on our go-to list for a long time and we finally went very early to enjoy the sunrise at this UNESCO world heritage site. Arriving in total darkness we left the car and walked towards the canals to enjoy the first bit of sun shedding its light on these famous windmills and its surrounding. Most of this location was created in the 18th century and apparently largely built between 1738 and 1740.
