Trade was quieter last week—a lull before the Easter rush. Roses, carna- tions, callas and Easter lilies are plenti- ful. All kinds of bulbous stock, with the exception of Paper Whites, are in excellent supply, but the demand for these is good because prices are low. Some good snapdragons are seen, while sweet peas, violets and other flowers are plentiful enough to supply the wants of the trade. Potted stock is in good de- mand. Various Notes. H. G. Pauli is busy potting off spring stock. lie has about 20,000 geraniums in 4-incli pots, as well as an abundance of other kinds of bedding plants. He looks forward to a big business in the near future. Miss M. A. Tierney, of the Bills Floral Co., has added a large display case for ribbons, which has added materially to the appearance of the store.
