UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon joined with Helen Clark, Administrator of the UN Development Programme (UNDP), and Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Wu Hongbo to unveil the 2015 MDG Gap Task Force Report, an assessment of the progress made by the Millennium Development Goal platform in accomplishing, among other goals, sustainable economic growth and the elimination of global poverty. The report is being issued in advance of the coming Sustainable Development Summit (September 25-27).
