Lt. Sears, , captured a German 210mm howitzer during the Battle of Vaux in Ardennes, France. The photograph, taken on November 5th, 1918, shows the captured weapon, which was later issued and approved by the (American Expeditionary Forces). The exact date it was received is unknown.
