Segovia High Speed Railway Station that opened in 2007 and serves trains from Madrid. With a total budget of over nine and a half million Euros, Assignia Infraestructuras built the high speed railway station of Segovia, as well as the railway facilities, the public works and the development. The building has a floor surface of 5,100 m2, and a large main hall built over three levels, around which the other areas can be found, including the travel centre for ticket sales, shops, café, toilets, offices and other premises occupied by facilities. The vehicle parking area is located on the surface and has 220 spaces, with the possibility for future expansion. It also has a parking area for busses and a taxi rank. The building, which is finished in limestone, aluminium and glass, is completely accessible for disabled people thanks to two lifts and four escalators. The passenger building is located one level above the platform levels to take advantage of the topography of the land, and as such the platforms are accessed via escalators. The station has six UIC wide tracks, four of which shall be for stationing, and two 400 metre long and metre wide platforms. In addition to the new station,
