Friedrich and Ursula Popken bought castle Münchhausen in 2002 and renovated the facility and all buildings including surrounding historic park Schwöbber. Since 2004 it is now the 5-star luxury hotel Schloss Münchhausen. Ursula Popken was the owner of the well known german fashion label "Ulla Popken". She died in 2009 and is buried in a single grave within the park Schwöbber in the city of aerzen nearby hameln in lower saxony, germany. Editorial use only
