The system has been oper-ating as far north as Wyandotte, 12 miles south of Detroit, for. The possibilities of through ticket selling,and eventually the development of through traffic, that are thusmade possible, are evident. In fact, only a short section of lineremains to be completed east of Erie, Pa., when an unbrokentrolley connection will be afforded through to Buffalo, N. Y. The importance of this event was signalized by a specialthrough trip on Nov. 15 from Cleveland to Detroit and A. Everett, president of the Toledo Railways & Light Com-pany, took a party of electric railway officials over the newroute, making the run from Cleveland to Toledo over the linesof the Lake Shore Electric Railway Company, and
