In 1865 Mr. Harris diedleaving one son, the two children, born before they crossed the plains, havingdied in Idaho City. Mrs. Harris and her son continued to live near Walla Wallauntil 1869, when she became the wife of Benjamin F. Flathers, and they locatedon a farm on Touchet River belonging to H. H. Spaulding.
