Circular based drawing where the loops are drawn with varying size and programmed to have a jagged effect.
This is one of a very large folio of machine drawings as submitted for my PhD in Fine Art at Manchester University. This is a turntable based machine with X axis linkage motion where the loops are programmed to change length rapidly to give a jagged feel to them. All Taitographs, as they are termed, are subject to programme control by a variety of specially designed sequential analogue programmers. To the best of my knowledge I have designed and built more analogue drawing machines than anyone else having reached twenty five different machines and with work still in progress. The wide variety of images are not only widely exhibited but could provide graphic designers with a range of motifs.
