'The Prince of Wales [future King Edward VII], according to the programme issued of his Royal Highness's movements, was to arrive at Quebec on the 18th inst., taking up his official abode at the Parliament Buildings, where he would receive deputations and hold levees during his stay at Quebec. There were also proper offices for the Lord Chamberlain. The engraving is from a drawing recently taken by G. H. Andrews, our Special Isle of Orleans, shown in the distance, is in the St. Lawrence River, and is about twenty miles in length, and six miles at its greatest breadth'.
