Alikko and Caher are two characters of a successful radio program. The skits, which focused on everyday life in Northern Cyprus around 1964, were very popular among Cypriots at home and abroad. The skits were written by Kemal Tunc, a well-known actor of Cyprus, and were also staged as a play. The sculptures of the two actors were designed by the artist Sevcan Cerkez.
