Natural Park Las Lagunas de Ruidera

The park consists of a set of fifteen lagoons located longitudinally along the Guadiana Viejo River valley, separated and connected by tuffaceous formation barriers, this barriers form waterfalls or stream that link each lagoon to the next. So lagoons that are not, strictly speaking, are river "backwaters".
