José Cavalcanti de Alburquerque y Padierna, 1871 - 1937. Spanish politician and military officer. Noted for his heroic action at Taxdirt, Morocco in 1909 where he risked his life to save his soldiers from the Tarifa and Cataluña battalions against the Rifians. From La Esfera, published 1921.
