160722-N-BL607-072 ARABIAN GULF (July 22 2016) –Sailors, assigned to Command Task Force 55, aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61), coordinates missile fire with patrol craft for the Griffin Missile live fire exercise. Monterey, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
