SOUTH CHINA SEA (July 4, 2016) – Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG 54) practice shooting pencil flares off of the port bridge-wing. Curtis Wilbur is on patrol with Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 5 in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
