Burlington Kansas, USA, October 11, 2014 Officials at the Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Plant say repairs made to a generator room cabinet following a fire Monday were successful. The fire happened just before 1:30 pm Monday. Wolf Creek originally had 72 hours from when the fire was logged to make repairs and ensure the generator was safe or else face a total plant shutdown. Repairs were made Wednesday followed by testing, which took place for most of Thursday.
