Grows with unequalled rapidity, so that in a few days it is ready to use. It is a week ahead of any other plant. The young shoots can be eaten raw or as a salad. It is excellent prepared same as lettuce. Its taste is remarkably pleasant, having the identical flavor of the Water Cress, which it very much resembles, and which is so highly prized and agreeable to all.
