RUTTLE THE MADISON AVENOE FLORIST KANSAS Cmr, MO. The Market. Stock will be far short of the demand for Mothers' day. There will be a fair supply of everything in this market, but, from the number and size of orders being received for the last two or three weeks, local growers cannot take care of the demand. Roses and carna- tions are in greatest demand; both are of good quality, and there is every rea- son to believe that what will be cut in the next week will be up to the stand- ard of the season so far. Prices will of necessity be higher than at Easter. Weather conditions in the next few days will determine whether many peonies will be cut. These flowers have been counted on for May 14. Various Notes. J. C. Lambert, of the Ove Gnatt ('o., was in the city May 5 and 6. C. J. Tucker, manager of Longview Farm, has gone to Washington, D. C. Mrs. Frank Fittingor, of Herington, Kan., is visiting her sister, Miss Borna- dette Lucie
