Disgraced former NYS Governor Eliot Spitzer greets the media in Union Square Park in New York on the first day of his recently announced comeback to run for New York City Comptroller, Monday, July 8, 2013. Spitzer also campaigned and collected petition signatures of which he needs 3,750 by midnight Thursday to qualify for the Democratic primary.
