MP John Mann - labour MP - Bassetlaw. Public Protest at Nottingham County Councils spending cuts. Hundreds of prostestors gathered outsdie the Nottinghamshire County Council at todyat oprotest at the proposed cutts being made by the new Conservative Adminsitration led by the aptly named Kay Cutts. Particular anger was with the plans tp sell off many of the councils well thought of elderly care homes.
