The morning after the first snow hit the rocky shores of Landsort in the southern Stockholm archipelago.
The first snow hits Landsort. Öja, as the island is also referred to, is the southernmost point of the Nynäshamn/Stockholm archipelago. In this photo, the Landsort lighthouse, one of the oldest in Sweden is visible to the right. On this outpost, pilots are stationed to help ships through the rocky archipelago. It was also a Swedish coastal artillery stronghold during the Cold War - a bunker and the silhouette of one of the turrets are visible just right of the center of this image.
