Natatory setae three times as long as the distance be- tween the place of their insertion and tips of terminal claws. Furca two and two-fifths length of terminal claw. Dorsal seta weak and situated about middle of furca. Bottom tows in river channels, surface and bottom tows in lakes, and lake and river shores; April to September. Illinois. Fig. 1287.
