Maude Barlow, Chair of the Council of Canadians,speaking at the protest and vigil outside Canada House condemning the secret CETA trade deal currently nearing completion between Canada and the EU. Negotiations have been in secret and the deal would allow the big corporations to force privatisation of public services such as the NHS and prevent governments adopting environmental legislation that might harm company profits.
