The North Pier, Blackpool's oldest pier, opened in 1863. One of its early attractions was the Indian Pavilion, replicating the Temple of Binderabund, in India, and seen right background. Pleasure steamers also anchored at its seaward end. Night view of the electric lights entrance in 2014 form the North Promenade at Talbot Square.
