Southport, Merseyside. UK Weather. 25th January, 2018 Sunshine and showers. A team of Viola Litter pickers on the foreshore, using grabbers to collect bags of polluted debris, polystyrene, rubbish, toxic discarded trash, from the resort shoreline. Employees at the company Hayley and others volunteered for the HHR project to spend a day clearing and cleaning the resorts beaches of the plastic tide washed up by recent storms. Blocks of palm oil waste are still washing up on the coast after storms which may have disturbed a wreck, sending the waste out into coastal waters.
