Red Sea. Oblique view from space looking south along the Red Sea. The land at left is in Saudi Arabia, and at right is part of Egypt. Cutting across the bottom of the frame is a street of jetstream cirrus cloud. This is a high-level cloud formed along the line of the tropical easterly jetstream. This photograph was taken on 15 November 1966 during the Gemini 12 mission.
