Randall Co., reports florists every- where having a busy spring. J. H. McNeilly, the Sixty-third street confectioner-florist, claims the cham- pionship as a Boston fern salesman. His specialty is 4-inch plants retailed at 35 cents, which he picks up at 25 cents. He says his turnover is 2,000 Bostons the first month of spring weather. That this season's coal bill will foot up $700 more than in the preceding year John Sinner attributes to not go- ing over the roofs last fall with the putty bulb. Sinner Bros, this season will use about twenty-five cars, prin- cipally Pocahontas.
