A walk over Crinkle Crags on an icy, blue-sky day lead me to this interesting frozen tarn. The wind had scoured abstract patterns into the ice and rocks showed through from the bottom, creating surreal foreground interest. Above sit both Scafell and Scafell Pike which are separated by the col of Mickledore.
