This plant simply refuses to grow dur- ing the winter, and it is almost Im- possible to procure cuttings until late, with the result thai, the plants are necessarily small. Any amount of cut- tings can be procured now and they can be easily rooted either in flats of soil or in the propagating bed. When the cuttings are inserted give them a good watering and keep them shady for two or three weeks
