Many Nebraskans remained in thePhilippines or have since gone there to help maintain ourflag in those islands. The Second Nebraska regiment underCol. C. J. Bills, was sent to the great camp at Chattanooga,Tennessee, and became part of the army in reserve untilthe war ended. The Third Nebraska regiment underColonel William J.
