Probably the first time, Napoleon appears as a character comedy melodrama. The old man, languishing in St. Helena under close surveillance by the authorities without befitting reverence, even without the illusion of freedom. But everything changes when a very strange woman - Josephine. Became his aide, Madame General Pontius surrounding Napoleon's touching concern and demands from his generals and local officials respect. The emperor, though renounced the throne, still the emperor. At the same time she herself treats his bitter truth.
