Serafin Sanchez, (1846-1896), 1920s. Artist: Unknown


General Serafin Sanchez, born in Sancti Spritus in 1846; he took part in the two wars; published the booklet 'The Humble Heroes' (1894). He returned to Cuba in the expedition of Roloff (1895), took the fort of Taguasco and died in battle on 18 November 1896.
