Suffolk is a county of historic origin in East Anglia on the east coast of England and borders Norfolk to the north, Cambridgeshire to the west and Essex to the south. Its county town is Ipswich and the North Sea lies to its east. The maritime county is low lying with few hills and largely wetlands with the Broads to the north.
