160204-N-IL474-227 SOUDA BAY (Feb 4, 2016) Sailors, dressed in mission oriented protective posture (MOPP) gear, participate in First Responder Operations Training (FROT) at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay. FROT is geared to help trainees respond in a defensive fashion to hazardous materials as well as to implement basic decontamination procedures. NSA Souda Bay’s mission is to provide support and security to and allied ships as well as aircraft transiting or operating in the eastern Mediterranean region.
