Patrick Violante, Electrical Engineer explains how the large volume laser scanner is used by the Advanced Data Acquisition, Prototyping Technology and Virtual Environments () Lab at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division to produce three-dimensional (3D) models of ships and shipyard drydocks.
