Hypopygium of $ (text-fig. 235, a) differs from that of marginifrons in having more and longer hairs on basal parts, a slightly differently shaped beaked apical joint (cf. figures), a distinctly longer and more slender aedeagus, etc. Type in the Transvaal Museum. Length of body: about 8 mm. Length of wing: about 7 mm. Locality.—W. Cape Province: Clanwilliam (Brauns, Sept. 1928).
