Incoming tide approaches a piece of coral on the sands of Lanikai beach just before sunrise. Lanikai means, "Heavenly Waters," in the Hawaiian language. The beach community, adjacent to Kailua beach on the island of Oahu, is consistently rated among the top ten beaches in the world. In addition to a beautiful sand beach and gentle waves, the beach is also known for its iconic Mokulua Islands which can be seen on the horizon along with a small sail boat.
