HYPOPHYSIS, DRAWING
L'hypophyse est une glande endocrine du cerveau. Elle est située dans une cavité de l'os sphénoïde. Elle est faite de deux parties, l'antéhypophyse et la posthypophyse. La première secrète des hormones stimulantes telles que la somatotrophine (croissance) et la prolactine (lactation chez la femme). La deuxième, la posthypophyse, stocke provisoirement la vasopressine et l'ocytocine. L'hypophyse est ici localisée par un point rouge.
