A young boy in a hat posing by a statue of Max the Gorilla at the Johannesburg Zoo. Max was a Western Lowland Gorilla held at the Joburg Zoo. He became famous in 1997 after being shot and wounded by criminal Isaac Mofokeng who entered his enclosure while attempting to evade police.
