The heaviest grade is per cent,and the maximum curvature is 8 degs. Side-pole overhead construction is used with 35-ft. poles,spaced 100 ft. apart. The trolley wire is No. 0000, figure 8,and is suspended 22 ft. above the track. Power is purchasedfrom the Washington Water Power Company, being trans-mitted from that companys water-power plant in Spokane totwo rotary-converter sub-stations, located at Green Acres andRoss, 14 and 25 miles, respectively, from Spokane. The trans-mission voltage is 22,000 volts three-phase. The equipment ateach sub-station consists of one 200-kw rotary converter andthree 100-kw oil-insulated transformers, the rotaries feedingonto the line through No. 000 and No. 0000 feeders.
