It was put into traffic on March 25, 1914. On April 18, it was decided to broadcast the locomotive to the Baltic exhibition in Malmö where on April 20, 1914, Kpev Lok es 2 (sister locomotive to ES 1 cf. KBAA00379) replaced. The locomotive then did occasional service until April 20, 1922 when it was canceled as a result of machine damage. The locomotive was abolished on January 22, 1923.
