CARAT 2016 is a nine-country, series of annual, bilateral maritime exercises between the Navy, Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations to include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor-Leste.
