The tubes aremounted well up in the roof trussesto get the maximum diffusion oflight and have proved very satisfac-tory for night work. When a car arrives at the shopfor repairs it is assigned to one ofthe 12 pits in the main repairshop and inspected from trolleywheel to brake shoes for any andevery defect, regardless of thedivision inspectors report of defects.
