PHILIPPINE SEA (Sept. 11, 2022) – Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Electrical) 1st Class Joseph Engle, from Albuquerque, New Mexico, salutes Cmdr. Grant Bryan, commanding officer of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Barry (DDG 52), from Anchorage, Alaska, during a 9/11 remembrance ceremony aboard the ship while operating in the Philippine Sea, Sept. 11. Barry is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
