London's Gay Pride 2016

On Saturday June 25th London celebrated Gay Pride. The festival actually ran from June 10th-26th with the 25th being the big celebration. A parade takes place starting in Portland Place through the west end and ending in Whitehall. London comes to a standstill whilst people and communities from across the globe join together for a mass party. After the parade the focus shifts to Soho around the Old Compton Street area, the centre of the gay community in London, where people party to the early hours. This images was taken during the Saturday celebrations.
