Bierpinsel, Beer brush Tower Pop-Art futuristic building designed by architects Ralf Schüler Ursulina Schüler-Witte & built 1972-76 in Schloßstraße,Steglitz,Berlin It is integrated into the Joachim-Tiburtius-Brücke, which at this point spans Schloßstraße. It was made of exposed concrete and intended to have red cladding or paintwork. It was intended for restaurant use but no business lasted for long and the owners of the building changed frequently. The building required considerable maintenance and 2002 the beer brush was temporarily closed. Subsequent uses included a sports and an art café and in 2010 the facade of the bierpinsel was decorated by street artists
