View W of the Lych Gate between St Mary's Churchyard & New Street, Painswick, Gloucestershire, England, UK. "Built at the charges of Mrs Frances Sarah Williams 1901" using timber from the Old Belfry. A cross-gabled parish room or office, half-timbered with flush plaster panels & stone roof, supported by wooden posts on stone bases. A two-light wood mullioned casement window with decorative bargeboard above carved with bells. The plaster panels are inscribed with Christian phrases.
