Whilst out shooting some drone footage of the coastline south of Cromarty for the National Trust for Scotland I took a few minutes to grab a few photographs of Eathie Fishing Station which was conviniently positioned at the bottom of the access track down to shore level! It is certainly an interesting spot, and somewhere that I think I will return to another time when I am under less pressure (and the temperatures a little warmer!) This panoramic was shot on a Nikon Z6 mk II with 24-70 f4 lens, 5 frames (horizontal) stitched in Lightroom. It shows the two buildings of the fishing station and the windlass is just about visible on the gable end of the near bothy. I believe this was part of a salmon fishery at one time.
